originally stemming from a live performance of the same name, ‘a walk with… s. salter’ is an audiovisual installation transporting you on a journey through the music of amsterdam and berlin based duo ‘s. salter’.

their discography tells stories of nostalgia, with songs that evoke a sense of longing and a search for the familiar. they combine an innovative approach to sonic textures and production techniques to create tracks that transport you to different locations. song by song, a journey is formed.

‘a walk with… s. salter’ takes you on this journey. the experience is brought to life by visual artists sam mccormick and seb price. over 11 minutes, the audience is immersed in 360 degree camera footage from the landscapes that inspired the soundscapes of ‘s. salter’s’ music, centring the audience in the perspective of the artists.

projected onto the space around you, this footage transcends the surfaces and walls, and becomes environmental, literally taking the audience on a walk.
